These next three days are absolutely critical. National observers, cable news pundits, and right-wing super PACs are all watching Texas to see if our grassroots movement has what it takes to break through.

Republicans are spending hundreds of millions of dollars across the country to hold on to control of Congress – and right here in Texas, they’re pouring in a staggering amount of dark money to flood the airwaves with vicious attack ads against James Talarico. Neither James nor I accept a single dollar from corporate PACs. We don’t have billionaire mega donors funding our campaigns behind closed doors. While I was inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, preparing to defend my colleagues and our democracy, Ken Paxton was actively trying to overturn a free and fair election and riling up the crowd outside. He’s an unrepentant election-denier who has weaponized his office against voting rights and healthcare access at every single turn.

Texans deserve a Senator who actually cares about working families. James Talarico is a former public school teacher and state representative who has proven he knows how to bring people together, cut through the noise, and stand up to the billionaire establishment.
