My dad would be a great pack leader!

HI FRIENDS!!! Marley here!!! 🐾
I know it’s been a while since I’ve last checked in – my apawlogies for the delay. It’s just that I’ve been having so much fun with my family this summer!
The sun here in Texas has never been more toasty, so the walks I’ve been taking have been the nicest EVER. ☀️
And I learned that you humans have a whole competition called the “World Cup” where you guys basically play fetch all day (at least it sort of looks like that)! ⚽ Watching it with my family has been a great way to take a break from the heat – and I’ve been taking mental notes on some techniques I could use against my dad whenever he throws me a ball!

The kids have been out of school all summer too, so the belly rubs and secret snacks under the dinner table have basically DOUBLED! 🍗
Truly, my first summer here couldn’t be better – but 🥺 to be honest, I’m a little worried.
I kind of thought my dad would be more relaxed after this whole “primary runoff” win. But it seems like things have been ruff. Now, he’s talking about a “general election,” and while I have no idea what that means, he’s been super stressed about it.
Apparently this thing is coming up in just a couple months, which is probably why he’s been making more calls and knocking more doors than giving me treats. Grrrrr…
I may not get what he’s doing, but I know why he’s doing it – and it’s because he cares A LOT about the people who live here. There’s no doubt in my mind that my dad would be a great pack leader. That’s why I’m hoping you’ll throw us a bone today. 🦴
Thanks fur everything! 💙 It means the world to me and my dad that you care!!
NOW back to squirrel-chasing! 🐿️
Love,
Marley 🐶 🦴
